Precious Metal Recovery is Aim of New SSM Program

"SSM Health Care - St. Louis has announced a partnership with Arch Enterprises (a precious metal refinery) to implement a program for recovering precious metals from medical supplies and radiology films, according to an SSM news release.
In addition to X-ray films, precious metal can be found in a variety of supplies, including EP catheters and electrodes. Arch Enterprises will remove the metal from the used supplies and pay SSM Health Care - St. Louis a market based price for it, accrding to the release."
